(I will mention that my verison is not the Beta Verison, though i dont know if that is a thing anymore, as the game is rather old now, its just the base default verison that is downloaded from steam.) The things i did to "fix" it was, i downloaded the file patch as a "Save As" to the correct place in the Sakara Dungeon Game folder (before i downloaded it to the default "Downloads" and copy/pasted it into the Game Folder.) and the second thing that i did was redownload the patch, cause the game was running just fine without the patch, so i knew that the problem was coming from the patch. Trying method like Nemix2 suggested but the result are same, still force close.I was having alot of problems with the patch's traceback errors. If after everything you've done you have problems with entering of your name, then check out the ways to solve them in Gboard FAQ section ( to follow).
After you finish setting up the keyboard, start the game again, in which you could not enter the name, and try again. Then launch the application Gboard and use the prompts to perform the necessary settings.
